Old Manor House is an important and magnificent example of a Medieval Hall House, located in the centre of Benenden, one of the most desirable villages in The Weald. This fascinating, partially-moated property has been the subject of extensive improvements in recent years and has been finished both sympathetically and to a high specification.

Understood to have been built on the site of an earlier manor house, it is mentioned in the Domesday Book and also in Nikolaus Pevsner's The Buildings of England, West Kent and The Weald.
